Specialist Aviation Services, incorporating Police Aviation Services and Medical Aviation Services are based at Gloucestershire Airport.  Predominantly involved in maintaining a proportion of the UK Air Ambulance helicopter fleet, those types seen include the AW169 and the MD Explorer.  Some airframes are used as spares and are often loaned out to units when the primary airframe is under maintenance.   Those helicopters seen from time to time include the following:
